Spring kicks off with live music and family fun events that continue throughout the summer. Mouth watering Peach burst into flavor late summer. Huge, sweet, juicy peaches to pick, or buy at the market stand. Seasonal delicacies like peach ice cream and peach pie flavor the air.

Fall kicks off with cooler temperatures and apple picking. Pumpkins 🎃 decoratethe grounds and bring visitors in from all over. The country store is packed with local produce and products including honey, teas, chili, and kitchen gadgets.

The Mountain Grill serves heartier fare for lunch and concessions during evening events. From the mountaintop tasting rooms, the Prince Michel Wine Shop and Bold Rock Hard Cider Cellar offer tastings, retail, and gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces to relax with a glass in hand.

Chiles Family Orchards—which includes Carter Mountain Orchard, Chiles Peach Orchard in Crozet, and Spring Valley Orchard in Afton—have grown to become community favorites and nationally-recognized agritourism destinations. A third generation family farm continues the tradition of providing the freshest produce and unforgettable experiences to Central Virginia and beyond.
